These include many important new features. Firstly, a new track window appeared. As with most DAW track windows, all tracks are displayed here, which allows you to manipulate track data without loss in an environment familiar to DAW users. The new «Tracks » window includes special support for the creation of magnets and phrases using the contents from RealTracks. Now there are floating windows everywhere! Twelve outdated modal dialog boxes were converted into non-modal floating windows so that they could be used interactively with other functions. These include new floating windows for styles, RealTracks, RealDrums, magnifying glasses, UserTracks, MIDI SuperTracks, Custom MIDI Tracks, MIDI Soloists, Melodiists, F5 Bar Settings, Track Settings and Chord Options.Major graphical interface improvements include the MultiPicker library window with tabs. This is a universal store for choosing tracks from any of 8 types of tracks. All selection tools have a common interface with a similar appearance and functions for filters, search, select, listen and generate. Partial track generation for each type of track has been added. Bar settings (F5) and pauses / bumps / holdings / shocks can be made for all 24 tracks. The new chord progression constructor allows you to interactively create your own progression, showing you the best following chords at any time. There are more than 800 custom MIDI tracks (with demo versions) that users can add as separate MIDI tracks following the chords.The speed of the play engine has been increased and uses several processor cores to accelerate generation and rendering. There are Melodist & Soloist enhancements, support for reading text files and chords created by LyricLab AI, installing selected for any type of track, new data filters for tracks and much more!
The Band-in-a-Box ® VST DAW plugin has over 20 new features, including almost instant playback directly from the disk to listen to various styles without creating WAV files. For users of Reaper DAW, the plugin added the built-in support for the Reaper DAW API, which allows you to directly transfer Band-in-a-Box files to / from Reaper tracks, including tiny, lossless instruction files that instantly play audio from disk. Now you can download chords from MIDI files. Added support for shots / rest / holdings on the service tracks and much more!
