De La Mancha - COMPLETE BIG BUNDLE (Peace-Out)

De La Mancha - COMPLETE BIG BUNDLE (Peace-Out)

Sidearm

sidearm is a very flexible compressor with many options to tweak the sidechain signal for very precise control. It can perform downwards, upwards and parallel compression and limiting, in peak or RMS flavours and with lookahead if you want it. But the sidechain control is where sidearm really gets to business. Whether you choose an internal sidechain or an external audio source, you can modify the sidechain audio with a multi-mode, adjustable-slope filter (up to 96 dB/octave) and adjust the mid/side, stereo balance and gain. You can also gate the control signal so it only kicks in above a certain level. This brings a level of control that will allow you to define exactly when the compressor kicks in, by isolating specific frequencies, stereo positions and volume levels in the sidechain. There is even a ‘sidechain listen’ option so you can hear what the compressor hears in the sidechain.
Example uses could be to isolate a kick sound in a loop with a LP filter and 100% mid signal, so the compressor ducks the bass channel every kick. You can create an effective de-esser by isolating sibilance with a steep BP filter, so the compressor reduces volume at these points. The gain and gate are useful to create fast and choppy drum compression and also useful for controlling upwards compression triggers. The mix control allows mighty parallel compression, with no phasing between the wet and dry signals, for an unbeatable combination of compressed drums and preserved transients.
Not to miss out the other options that include linked/unlinked stereo detection, brickwall limiter, super fast attack and release with low
frequency distortion cleaning and it just wouldn’t be a de la Mancha plugin without a dirt knob. It also has stereo level, peak and reduction metering with adjustable sensitivity.

Octav8r

Octav8r is a 7-node pitch-shifter that generates 6 differently pitched stereo versions of the audio input added to a ‘dry’ non-shifted signal to generate a richly layered sound. Each node has its own volume envelope and variable state filter plus send controls to vibrato, chorus, delay and reverb effects. The envelopes can be triggered by midi, audio gate or looped in sync with the host tempo.
The primary idea of Octav8r is to create multiple pitch-shifted layers of the incoming audio. With some twiddling you can get creative with panning to generate separation around the stereo field, use envelopes to bring each node in and out at different times and use chorus, delay and reverb to make each node sit differently in the mix. You can use the tempo-sync envelope trigger to create rhythmic gating or pulsing and the envelope toggles to make only some nodes modulated whilst others stay constant. Most controls have midi CC and midi learn support, so with some automation or midi knob twiddling, you can make the output really move around.
You can read a review of Octav8r by traxmusic by clicking here

features

· 6 pitch-shifting nodes, with octave shifting (-3 to +3) and semitone shifting (-12 to +12, to 0.001 semitones)
· All nodes have independent volume, pan, ADSR envelope, variable state filter, vibrato, chorus, delay and reverb controls
· Node 0 is the ‘dry’ audio at incoming pitch, which also has pan, ADSR, chorus, delay and reverb
· Envelopes can be triggered by midi note, audio gate, a tempo-sync loop or bypassed
· Envelope contours can be changed and set to restart or pick-up at retrigger
· Mix level can be adjusted between dry and pitch-shifted nodes
· Each node can be fine tuned for pitch shift method and buffer size
· Each node, envelope and effect can be switched off to save CPU
· Midi CC support and midi learn for most controls
· 38 presets
· Multi-out version for hosts that can support this feature

Thr33some

thr33some is a multi-band stereo tool, to allow you to widen or narrow specific frequencies in your mix. Typical use would be to make bass sounds mono whilst progressively spreading higher frequencies, but abuse and experimentation will yield some interesting effects too. Thr33some has 2 methods of stereo spread and with gain and pan per band you have total control over all 3 bands. You can also make each band full spectrum to get 3 full layers and control in and out gain with metering to keep levels under control. There is also a multi-out version for individual processing of each band in your DAW.

Pitchfork

pitchfork is a 3 band pitch shifter / modulator, covering everything from subtle doubling to total pitch destruction. Each band can be shifted in pitch and has its own tempo sync LFO for modulation madness or subtle wandering. You can split the bands into low, mid and high ranges, or leave all 3 as full spectrum bands to double or treble up the original audioMulti-band pitch-shifting can be useful to lower the bass frequencies of a kick drum or raise the sizzle on a cymbal in a drum loop, or you could automatically add bass and sub bass to any sound The LFO’s allow many ways to modulate the pitch in each band, so you could use it for subtle tape deck modulation, rising or falling effects into breakdowns, or plain crazy pitch mayhem if you’re the sort of person who lists a frying pan amongst your instruments

Erratic 2

erratic 2 is a drum sample player with many randomising and velocity sensitive options to make any drum pattern sound different on each loop. It can be used to add realism or surrealism depending on how you want to set it up. At the core you have a 15 slot drum sampler with 6 velocity layers per slot, each layer can be played according to velocity, cycled (round-robin) or randomly triggered. To vary things up a bit you can determine the hit probability and hit repeat probability for each slot and add a random factor for the velocity, pan and swing for each hit.In addition to the velocity layers, this update adds velocity-sensitive decay envelopes for volume&filter cut-off, as well as velocity sensitivity to pitch and filter cut-off. Another new feature is the hit repeat probability, with delay time, repeat velocity and velocity sensitive feedback. The step-sequencer is replaced by a more flexible midi / piano-roll triggering, which allows better management of note precision, long patterns and different time signatures. Improvements have been made to give 4 choke groups across all samples, better mute/solo options, sample reverse, sample normalisation, MIDI out, support for 32 bit wavs and more samples than ever before.

Subhuman

subhuman is a specialized 2 Osc synth for creating powerful sub bass, either for low down basslines, or sub-bass kick drums and drops. subhuman has been updated to add a pitch envelope, contoured graphical envelopes, note-on sync, waveform display and oscillator phase. It also now has a pure sine oscillator for Osc1, which is generated by real-time math to avoid interpolation and give a pure signal
By playing notes several octaves below middle C, subhuman will create a deep sub bass from the pure sine wave generated by Osc1. You can add to this with a different waveform on Osc2, detuned, sync’d and out of phase to get an extra layer of sound. Use the envelopes to shape the volume, pitch and LFO profile, each one has multiple contours for each stage to get just the right effect. The tempo-sync LFO can make the filter wobble or sweep and the overdrive will add some dirt. Drum mode removes the sustain stage of the envelopes to give you a percussive sound on each note, used with the pitch envelope to get that classic drum machine kick

MIDI Control
If you prefer to control your audio software with hardware knobs or sliders, Flying Haggis can make you happy there too. Thanks to db audioware's easy-to-use MIDI Learn feature, it's simple to map any on-screen control to your favourite external MIDI control surface.

And if live performing is your thing, just hook up a MIDI pedalboard to remotely switch banks & presets, or tweak settings in realtime.

Totally Believable
For any skeptics who doubt the existence of flying haggis - we offer absolute proof in the form of a high resolution photo of the litle guy, snapped as he soared above Dave's keyboard one misty morning. A copy of the snapshot is taped to the amp for your viewing pleasure.
We rest our case.
